For as long as I can remember I've always been a fan of many comic strips, but "Peanuts" by Charles Schulz was my all time favorite (and still is). I don't know specifically what it was about Peanuts that was so appealing to me, but I know it just made me passionate about someday wanting to do my own comic strip and make the world laugh like he {Charles Schulz} did. So, back in 1995 I decided to take a crack at making my own comic. At that time I was drawing the characters as adults and sent some samples off to syndicates. (I was politely turned down by all of them). So it was suggested to me by my older brother that I try making the characters into 8 year old children, which is the version I stuck with to this day. Then when I finally got onto the Internet in 1999 I decided to put Poet Ink. online to literally share it with the world!

Poet Ink. is about the day to day misadventures of two 8 year old brothers named Frank & Dave Poet who run a deli stand. The comic is updated every week.
