Wolverine and Co.

Had a quiet few hours last night, a piece of hardboard and some masonry paints. I know there was other stuff I should've been doing, but I just wanted to have a go at something like this. So I did.

... and what about the ladies?

Many thanks, guys. Given the quality of the work you all do, I'm a bit embarrassed to even post this rough work here, but very much appreciated.friends.gif

Looks cool. I love it!

Oh, the Dulux-cans weren't part of the composition??? My first thought was, Logan has ripped the bucket! Trompe d'oeil ...

Great dynamics, Des, but I miss the ladies.

In fairness, I should've just taken a clean picture of the painting on it's own. peer.gifconfused.gif Mind you, I should also have spent some time finishing the painting properly also. It's still very raw. I just took a few photos and posted it 'coz I was reasonably happy with the way it looked and I hadn't posted anything in a while.tongue.gif

Thanks for the feedback, guys, Much appreciated.biggrin.gif

@Simonmackie: Do I? I think its a great picture and i always find it intessting to see the materials used. I made a joke, because my first look wasn´t on the picture but on the surroundings.

Jodis - You just don't get it , do you? drool.gifThe Dulux NEEDS to be seen and it's a great photograph incorprating the materials that were used

@ Ming : Thanks. Much appreciated.smile.gif

@ Jodis :peer.gif confused.gifThe Dulux? That's my paint. That green paint is the Hulk's coloration, and the black is wherever you see it, and that bucket of brushes are my paintbrushes. biggrin.gif Not exactly in the manner of Picasso or DaVinci, I suppose, but that's just how I do it. I suppose I should take a fresh picture of the painting on its own - I just didn't think of it.

What a tough, raw and powerful medium; masonry paint and hardboard. It really works with this imagedoubletop.gif. This picture is as hard as nails!
