Yay! Thank you for the correction. I had three German friends read this, and no one corrected my German.
Heino's first appearance in the Goth Scout cartoon strips occurred before this comic strip opera. He originally appeared as a bad guy who kidnaps the girls so they can perform in "Lord of the Shunkel" (Have you heard of "Lord of the Dance", the Irish stepdancing troupe?). If they don't perform, they will be turned into kinderwurst. I will perhaps post those cartoons when the cartoon opera is finished.
Americans don't have much in terms of real folk culture. It's all bits and pieces brought here by immigrants. Mostly, we like to shop.
PS: Maybe you like to use some characteristic bavarian filling words for the next episodes like
Schuhplattler, Mahlzeit, prost, Semmelnknödeln, habe die Ehre, zwoa droa gsuffa, Hofbräuhaus, Herrschaftszeiten, Kruzifix hallelujah, Saupreiß, Herrgottsakrament, Krachlederne, zünftig, König Ludwig, Kaschperl, Seppel, Brezen, Fensterln, auf gehts Buam... :o)
PPS: One thing - it should be written "DIE SCHLAGER-MEISTER-OPER". Because the article stands in relation to the last word (die Oper), not to the first (der Schlager) in german grammar.
Nono, we celebrate the "Black September Fest" in Stammheim. Many fun with the traditionell Capitalism-Bonzen Kidnapping and the escapisting "Grüne Minna Shooting" Sapperlot cool!
