I think these are all from early 2008. Pokemon was in the midst of a renaissance.

I drew these under the influence of my young cartooning students and my young niece. I watched several Pokemon movies when my five year old niece was staying with me. I thought to myself, these cute animals are hurting each other. Wow. It's not unlike the Bugs Bunny cartoons where Elmer Fudd was trying to shoot the cute rabbit, but there are no guns, only weird superpowers.
