"disturbing" may be the wrong word, sorry. Maybe I am just too superficial.
Saying that you have a lot of experience is an understatement, I guess (over 100.000 cartoons as far as I know?). So did you make the experience that the reader does not admire eg. proportionally correct figures? I know that there is a difference between adequate proportions and complex drawing, and I know that the latter is often harmful to a cartoon's impact on the reader. I thoroughly understand when a professional cartoonist decides to reduce the effort into drawings when it is not cost-effective. Is that the case here?
