Thanks for the encouragement!

I'm learning as I go - this is my first attempt at a real comic. Pacing in particular is difficult, specially since I'm trying to tell a story, develop the characters, and give each single page some sort of mini-closure.

I do worry that people will get bored because things don't move so quickly in the story. That's specially worrisome because there's one one page per week, so readers have to wait a full week to see what happens, and often the answer is "not very much".

On the other hand I feel the slow pacing helps develop the the image of the characters in the reader's mind, so that when something shocking happens, it's all the more shocking, for instance. I'm kinda spilling out some secrets here, but I like to play that kind of game with the readers - where you lull them into a false sense of security and then kick them in the teeth by destroying the status quo. "Daughter is so cute, isn't she?" ...and then she blows up the city. That sort of thing.

All in all, I'm trying to do some things with the story that I don't know whether or not will work, and this is hampered by the fact that I'm hardly any good at this whole comic thing anyways. So please be patient with me! Yet ret assured that I'm paying attention to your comments and they help me make a better comic. You should see the story moving forwards in the following pages :)

Thanks again for your comments!

well be careful and don't ruin your amazing work by slow development of the plot like witnessed now. you allready drew 30 pages. amazing work, but still i don't really know what's up. that's quite dangerous:
1. perhaps dangerous for me as it indicates the mandatory stupidness of my own
2. but perhaps it shows that the comic/manga is not progressing as fast as it perhaps should have and grows boring sometime
keep the good work coming, but don't create an epic chewing-gum manga. let the storyline be more conclusive. at least part for part.

Wow the tension is rising!

I like how the guy shows her his balcony twice.
The gag with the mirror is very good but a bit hard to recognice.

Anyway I am looking forward to next episode - and there it comes :-)

'reads kinda like the average Joe's webcomic out there ... --- uhm, no! Reads like an elite webcomic ...
Huh?? Mmmm, I dunno. Forget that comment.

Thanks Ron, Rob, Anjo! I don't know if Daughter will help Father get a better life, but I do think his life is going to be much more interesting from now on :)

What a strange idea, but very imaginative nevertheless.

Nice again. That poor boy surely needs a better appartment. I gues his new imaginary girlfriend will help him to gain a better life!
