Great mind work! Personally I am exhausted by comics wo try to play with their boundaries, but this one comments itself in a way and is more original.

I especially like the last line, which is original in my opinion. It reminds me of Scott McCloud.

Thanks for your opinion on this. I realize the last line was pretty unoriginal; it's been done in many webcomics. But the point I was trying to make was does this line read any differently because the context is now different. The character is being self-referential, but now he's aware that he's being self-referential (breaking the 5th wall?). Maybe that point was lost or is just too pretentious to be read well. Oh well, at least this was definitely a fun experiment of a comic.

Oh, a philosophical comic strip. Nice idea with the fourth wall, but I think the final gag should be more weird like f.e. falling out of the panel, interacting with a closing comic book, ...
