confused.gif...interesting... the Irish for rabbit is "coinín" - pronounced (roughly) as cunneen. Not dissimilar to kaninschen. There's also an English folk word - coney. Cross fertilisation of languages is fascinating. I really like etymology - it brings things together in interesting ways.biggrin.gif

It IS indeed a dwarf bunny from Lord of the Rings (I think I saw one in the extended DVD-version of Part 1 at the Council of Elrond ...).
Note: It's NOT a pygmy rabbit! They live in the african bush, using poisoned darts, or so ...

Well, in German it is - similar to English - "Zwerg-Kaninchen".

Loving the artwork. Unfortunately, beyond the obvious fact that I'm looking at a viking (possibly a berserker ? ) white rabbit somewhere in the snowy wasteland, I have isufficient command of German to hazard even a guess as to whazzat.tongue.gif
