Oh, I'm sorry, you're right. Sure, there is a connection. The gag is pretty good.

Actually the landslide covers candidate A, so it's candidate B the one who wins :D Anyways, I just wanted to say I love the word "blitzkrieg"!

Yeah, there is no real connection between a landslide coming over him and his winning. Therefore the pun is more like a Blitzkrieg in my mind: It has humorous potential, but I cannot laugh about it.
Looking forward to your next load of I.D.

Haha :D It does indeed look odd. It's the most yoghurt-like mud ever.

As for Imaginary Daughter, I won't be updating it here for a while because I try to post several strips at once, but if you want to read the latest strips as soon they're posted, you can always check on the official site (http://www.imaginarydaughter.com)

Aah, I seee. And the literally landslide is caused by massive ice-cream-attac from outer space, arf,arf. Cant wait to see more from your Yotsuba-inspired ID-Serie....:-)

A landslide victory is when one of the candidates wins by a rather large margin over her opponents. But a landslide is also what you see in panel 2, an avalanche of sorts. So in this joke, candidate B wins by a landslide quite literally. Sorry, it's a rather poor joke ^^;;;

Me no unnerstand? Maybe the pun gets lost by translating in Grrrman? I know its shure annoying, but pleas explain to poor me...
