Wissenswertes:

Spyro ist der Protagonist der gleichnamigen Reihe von Videospielen. Es handelt sich um Jump'n'Run-Spiele mit dem violetten Drachen Spyro in der Hauptrolle, der stets von der Libelle Sparx begleitet wird.

Während die ersten drei von Insomniac Games entwickelten Titel für die PlayStation von Sony Computer Entertainment veröffentlicht wurden, liegen die Rechte nun bei Vivendi Universal Interactive. Die neueren Titel werden von anderen Unternehmen wie Check Six Studios, Equinox Digital Entertainment, Digital Eclipse Software und Amaze Entertainment entwickelt.

Spyro: Ein lila Drache, der viele Atemelemente beherrscht, wie Feuer, Wasser, Erde, Elektro, Eis und Bläschen. Zudem kann er die Zeit verlangsamen. Diese Fähigkeiten haben nur lila Drachen, die alle 10 Generationen geboren werden.
