I love this piece - I know it's a little clunky in places, but the mood and lighting are great. He also had a great eye for architectural detail.

Absolutely - very Poe. And I agree about the dragon, but for a seventeen year old back in the seveties/eighties in Ireland with no formal training, I thought it was a very effective piece of work. He was my brother, though, so maybe I'm biased.
