Summertime

I've been recently asked to do an odd job , completing a Don Rosa's illustration !!!

WOW !!! no pressure there ... no sweat at all ! ( why is the world suddenly spinning around ?! )

A french magazine wanted to publish a summer illustration by Don but the illustration they had in mind was very small and half hidden by a huge duck
so they asked me if I can just keep the original drawing but make it bigger and complete the missing parts ( hidden by the duck )
so I did !
And since Gus Goose was not a very famous or popular character , he was removed and replaced by Donald .

I tried to do my best to preserve Don Rosa's original style by re-reading his stories a lot and in basing my drawings on his stuff

( as you can see , it always gets a lot darker when its printed grrrr )
