The switch between cartoony images and more dramatic ones goes in hand with the series' own lack of definition between comedy and drama. I'm trying to alternate between both; I'm not sure if I'm getting a good result though, we'll see... but I'll keep in mind your advice for the more dramatic bits that will follow :D
Welcome back! Fun chase. You're using a lot of "build up tension"-cliches, but it sure gets the job done. Just one thing: Your characters run a little too cartoonical for the drama of the situation, meaning the lean-back thing and the wide spread legs. The story could get a lot more speed if you drew them more realistic, let them lean forward, just one foottip on the ground and so on.
