Oha, ich dache beim ersten Hinsehen das ist ein Seeungeheuer, was ein Schiff umkreist, was zum großen Teil an dem Ring liegt, vielleicht wenn du ihn tiefer setzt, dann könnte er an eine Burgmauer erinnern ...

Bin schon gespannt auf die Endfassung. Wird bestimmt gut! Im Sinne einer dezentralen Bildgestaltung müsste die Sonne aus dem Zentrum etwas an die Seite vielleicht, im Bereich des goldenen Schnitts,wandern. Die alten Meister haben das so gemacht, weil dies das natürliche Sehen besser wiedergibt. Meistens haben sie auch Aktionen immer etwas aus dem Zentrum geholt. Vielleicht noch ein kleiner Leuchturm in den Horizont, als Allergorie einer nahende Rettung?

@Bommel Ich wollte die Ruine ''besonders'' aussehen lassen und kam so auf die Idee ihn mit einem Metallring zu beschmücken. Aber wenn's irritiert...
Ich glaube ich möchte es einfärben, aber... ich bin halt super schlecht im Greyscale-zu-Farbig machen. Die Farben sind dann oft zu dumpf und matt...
