Auf die Bitte von Monsterdisein, mal einen Shoggoth zu zeichnen, gibt's diese Illu von mir. Uncommercial Fanart zu "Mountains of Madness" by Howard Phillips Lovecraft.

| Als ich spät in der Nacht mit der Zeichnung fertig war und parallel dazu (mal wieder) die Geschichte las, ertönte plötzlich das aggressive GEBELL EINES HUNDES draußen auf der Straße-Mann, SO habe ich mich schon lange nicht mehr erschrocken!!! (Wer die Geschichte kennt, weiß was ich meine...Und wer nicht, auf hplovecraft.de gibt's die Story als PDF-Datei zum downloaden. Oder kauft das Buch-Viel Spaß beim Lesen & Gruseln!)

Null Problemo, Karsten, das habe ich mir schon gedacht.
Rand Holmes war schon genial,echt schade, dass er nicht mehr unter uns weilt. (R.I.P.)
Und die meisten Lovecraft-Stories sind als Gute-Nacht-Lektüre für Kinder und Zartbesaitete eher weniger zu empfehlen.

@Trumix: Yeah, hatte am Anfang überlegt die Zeichnung zu kolorieren, aber in reiner schwarz/weiß Optik wirkt es gruseliger, wie ich finde & du ja auch festgestellt hast. Manchmal kann man mit Farbe die Stimmung einer Zeichnung auch total versauen.....
