Charakter zu meinem aktuellen Comic-Projekt "Sandbank Pirates"
So, nachdem mein letztes Bild ja eher was süßes, niedliches war, hier mal wieder was für erwachsenere Leute :D
Rubyara, kurz Ruby, ist eine Bewohnerin von Sandbank, einem sehr trockenen und staubigen Planeten und ihres Zeichens eine Piratin (zusammen mit ihrem Bruder und 2 anderen Männern). Die Szene an sich wird so im Comic vorkommen, sie versucht per Anhalter bei einem Transporter mitzufahren und setzt dazu ihre offensichtlichen Reize ein :D
Hinter ihrem Rücken versteckt ist ihre "Gum Gun" mit der sie Kaugummikugeln schießen kann und noch so einiges mehr ...
5 Seiten des Comics sind schon angeskribbelt, mal sehen was sich diesmal daraus ergibt (nachdem ich ja nicht ganz so konsequent meine anderen Projekte verfolge, da mir ständig neue tolle Stories einfallen ... *seufz*)
Habe schon lange keine richtige Computer-Coloration mehr gemacht, deshalb war das eine ganz nette Übung, aber zufrieden bin ich nicht wirklich. Keine Ahnung warum ... hm.
Der Hintergrund ist ein Foto von mir, das ich dieses Jahr in Irland gemacht habe, passt ganz schön dazu wie ich finde

erst mal danke
ja ja, ich weiß, ihre füße sind nicht drauf, das liegt aber daran, dass ich ihre skizze auf dem papier mal wieder zu weit unten angefangen hab ... und da das bild gestern im laufe von 2,5 entstanden ist, war ich dann doch etwas faul :D
außerdem ist es nicht das cover, sondern eher ein charakter-sheet, denn sie ist nur eine von 4 hauptcharakteren und das cover wird (zumindest in meinem kopf) bisher sehr viel bombastischer :D
und die sache mit der nadel ... hm ... eigentlich eine gute idee noch ein anderes bandenmitglied damit auszustatten (und wenns nur um des running-gags willens ist *g*)

@maescot: Stimmt Fullbodyshots bei Covers sind immer mehr gefragt, so schließe ich mich Deiner Meinung an.
Ansonsten ist das Bild eine gut harmonierende Kombination von Zeichnung und Foto.
Fehlt ne Nadel um den Kaugummi zum platzen zu bringen!!!

Der Stil und die Zeichnung gefällt mich echt gut! Vielleicht hätte man die Dame ganz ins Bild nehmen sollen. Und mal sehen, was du aus der Story machst.
