Hallo Comicfreunde,
bevor ich meine Comix mit dem PC gezeichnet habe, hatte ich Anfang 2000 einige Arbeiten
noch auf die klassische Art und Weise produziert. Nämlich mit Pinsel und Farbe. Hier ist
eine davon. Links ist die Ideenskizze und rechts ist die Endversion. Die Originalgröße
der Endversion ist 70x50cm und wurde mit diverse Wasserfarben auf einem leinwandbezogener
Karton gemalt. Die ursprüngliche Idee war ein SF-Thema "Gestrandet auf einen fremden Planeten".
Leider konnte ich mich nicht entscheiden, wie ich den Schlagschatten anlegen sollte. Darum
gilt diese Arbeit bei mir als unfertig.

Hallo Made,
mit den Schwermetall-Zeiten liegst Du genau richtig. Ich habe jahrelang diese
Comicserie gelesen und vermisse heute diese Art von Comix. Randnotiz:
In einen bekannten Filmmagazin stand, das Hollywood ein Remake
des ersten Heavy Metal-Film planen. Egal. Ja, ich habe versucht meine
ST-Cartoons per Hand um zu setzen. Allerdings war ich mit der Linienführung
nicht zufrieden. Einer der Gründe warum ich alles mit Vektorengrafik (Corel)
zeichne. Zu deiner Anregung, das Beste auch beiden Kunstformen
zusammen zu bringen, kann ich schon mal so viel verraten...
das meine nächste große Aktion, genau diesen Ansatz zeigen wird.
Allerdings ist die Veröffentlichung erst ab Sommer 2009 geplant

Mich erinnert es an die Artworks aus Schwermetall-Zeiten. Kommt da auf jeden Fall mit von der Qualität.
Mir gefallen Deine alten 'analogen' Sachen ehrlich gesagt auch deutlich besser als die neuen Computer-Strips. Vielleicht solltest Du mal versuchen, das Beste aus beiden Ansätzen zusammen zu bringen - also z.B. die Stripideen aber analog umsetzen?
Nur so eine Anregung von mir

Links: Rotziger und dreckiger, sehr gut.
Rechts: Ausgefeilter und detaillierter, aber weniger rotzig. Auch sehr gut.
