Ho ho ho... ich wollt mal wieder was Mangalastiges machen. Nachdem ich mich wieder sehr stark mit einigen Manga Künstlern beschäftigte kam das dabei raus. Wie man sieht ist es seeeehr Mangahaft *zawinker*
Also dann mal Frohes Fest und so zeug!

Also hier muss ich jetzt auch noch nen Kommi hinterlassen. Ich finde es einfach großartig wie du hier mit schwarz weis Flächen gearbeitet hast. Ich mag sowas ja total ^^ So Vampierartige Schneidezähne sind zwar nich so mein Fall, aber ansonsten finde ich sie echt toll.

Habe auch mal versucht, Mangas zu lesen. Usagi Yoyimbo von Stan Sakai finde ich brilliant, aber bei Dr. Slumb (oder so) bin ich gescheitert. Die Zeichnungen fand ich toll, aber das Lesen eines Buches von hinten nach vorne und von rechts nach links habe ich nach ein paar Seiten aufgegeben.
Mein Versuch, mal etwas im Mangastil zu zeichnen, ist schon an den Augen gescheitert.

Wenn Deutsche Mangas zeichnen sehe ich das auch kritisch. Mein Comic an dem ich arbeite hat meinen eigenen Stil, den ich einzuordnen noch nicht geschafft habe -, aber gelegentlich mal eine Mangaillu oder etwas damit zu spielen hat seinen Reiz.
Wenn man seinen eigenen Stil noch nicht einmal Ansatzweise ergründet hat und nur Manga zeichnet beschrenckt sich und seine Kunst.
Bei mir an der Akademie ließ der Direktor ein Kommentar bezüglich der zu sichtenden Mappen ab, was die aussage hatte, dass sich "Mädchen" zu 80% mit Mangas bewerben.
Manga ist wie Gift in großen Dosen tödlich und in kleinen heilend

Mir gehts wie Karsten, aufgewachsen mit Lucky Luke und Barks-Donald.
Aber ich verstehe auch die Faszination von Mangas: Die Inhaltliche Bandbreite der verschiedenen Manga-Genres ist atemberaubend, da werden die verschiedensten Bedürfnisse ganz unkompliziert angesprochen. Der Zeichenstil erscheint simpel (ist es natürlich nicht), Anfänger haben weniger Schwellenangst sich auch mal zu probieren. Und es gibt viele Manga-typische frische Ideen etwas darzustellen (nicht nur große Hupen). Mein absoluter Favorit ist die Serie Yotsuba, brillant gezeichnet, sehr eigen UND witzig.

Ich habe absolut NICHTS gegen Mangas und Mangakas, bin allerdings mit den franko-belgischen Comics und US-amerikanischen Cartoons aufgewachsen und finde die Frage meines Namensvertters Leichi sehr interessant, weil ich sie mir auch schon öfters gestellt habe.

Warum sind eigentlich sehr viele deutsche Zeichner (vor allem Zeichnerinnen) so manga-geil? Ich meine, das ist doch eigentlich ne japanische Ur-Form. Warum kopieren das so viele Stiftschwinger hier? Ich habe absolut nix gegen. Aber es interessieren mich (wie immer) die freaktechnischen Hintergründe.
