I really LOVE this one. Twenty six years since I saw it in NKN, and it's still fresh. Seriously Si, if you ever publish a "Best of Mackie" book, this one has gotta be in it.

(I'm getting very fond of these emoticon thingies... )

I really appreciate your comments, Paul and Gloiman. I had reservations about uploading this comic because it's a very old strip and my style has changed so much over the years. It's very primitive and the over attention to cross hatching is unnecessary but because of this maybe it takes on a certain charm. Actually my wife prefers my older style to my current one. So maybe I will upload some other older pieces as you both suggest.

I love the style of the speechbubbles and letters. Hungry for more!

What a lovely, classic style! Very sweet + the flow of the story is fine, too. I hope there's more where this came from!!
