Alles klar, ich hatte mir unter "tryout" irgendwie eher ne Skizze oder grober Vorzeichnung vorgestellt. Dachte nicht, dass ausgearbeitete Inks unter diese Bezeichnung fallen.
Geil, dass es danach noch mit Bastei' geklappt hat.

Zur Klärung, dies Cover plus 2 zusätzliche Comicseiten
(diese stehen bei Toonpool ein- Link: http://www.toonpool.com/gallery.php?user=432&offset=144 untere Reihe 2. & 3. Bild von links)
entstanden s. ca. 1986 und wir (Horus=Inks & ich=Pencils) haben Sie damals dem Condor Chöff Biehler auf der Frankfurter Buchmesse präsentiert.
Der hatte aber schon Michael Götze unter Vertrag.
Tryouts (Singular übersetzt Versuch/Ausprobieren) sind einfach Testseiten, die für ein Magazin/Heft/Serie etc. entstehen.
Wohl haben uns damals diese Seiten 3 Jobs für Bastei's Gespenster-Geschichten eingebracht.
Lang ist's her, aber est ist toll auch bei Euch ein wenig Nostalgie geweckt zu haben!!!

Was bedeutet "Tryout"? Das Cover wurde schon verwendet, oder?

Das hört man gerne! das Inking stammte vom Kollegen Horus, mit dem ich damals das Fanzine "Amok"herausgegeben habe.

Oh Mann - das Cover stammt genau aus der Zeit als die Spinne mein absoluter Superhelden-Favorit war. Und die Cover damals waren echt geil - handemade eben. Die heutigen Cover sind zwar viel detailierter und Photoshop-aufgeplustert....aber die Magie der alten Cover haben sie für mich nicht mehr

ich liebe die fantastischenvier und spiderman aus ihren frühen jahren. habe in den letzten jahren immer mal wieder versucht, ein heft zu lesen und die "magie" wieder zu spüren, aber es klappt nicht mehr. batman hatte dagegen in den letzten jahren einige interessante entwicklungen. DC rules!
