Thanks Genevieve. Please make the wine. As I'm writing this missive my children are putting cloves into oranges and the fragrance is wonderful

Yes, it's unforgivable to be English - but I haven't any English blood in me - only Scottish.

Isn't this supposed to be an international site?

This was part of a comic strip recipe book that I'd been planning (cooking is another passion of mine). There are a few of my other recipes on this site and I do intend to do more and one day get that book published. The only trouble is that other drawing projects keep cropping up and delaying this.

MUST you be so English?

Love the cooking tips, Si. Have you considered TV? I know Gordon Ramsay and Jamie Oliver have kinda cornered the market, but surely there might be a slot for "The Doodling Chef" or "Jube's Kitchen"? Howabout "Pots n Pencils"?

Seriously?

Muß hier so vieles auf Englisch sein?
