Comic Beggars can't be choosers

des - Beggars can't be choosers

Short story - words by Chris Barker not included, you've gotta buy Layer Zero Choices if you want to read 'em.
As I say, words not included, but I hope the pictures tell this sad little story reasonably clearly.

Wow. Very kind of you to say so. It was a story I cared about, so maybe that comes through. I'm not a particularly good or experienced graphic artist, but I am very pleased if this story works well for you. Thank you very much.

@ Poetink : thanks. I like the old-fashioned approach to the work. Makes me feel more ownership of the story.

Nice graphic novel feel Des. I like it!

And don't worry about using Paint. I actually have Photoshop, but I prefer to use paint to color my strip. I mainly use Photoshop to put in the borders.

Thanks. I was very happy with this story, and had a lot of fun drawing it. It's the first time I used a computer to put a story together properly, and I edited my drawings using Paint. I'm not very good with computers and don't have any modern programs like photoshop, but I thought this worked out ok.

Very good!
The black background and especially the gray coloring fits perfectly!

The grey tones and black solids work so well here and great pathos. Brilliant work
