@Ralf: Ja, die Bibliothek war mutig genug, mal was Neues auszuprobieren. Die Sache ist übrigens gut angenommen worden.

@Joerg: Es heißt "schdröbbe" (irgendwie ist mir beim Hochladen wohl die unkorrigierte Seite dazwischen geraten; im gedruckten Heft ist es richtig)
Toll, dass du danach gegoogelt hast. "Abstreifen" ist tatsächlich eine weitere Bedeutung, allerdings immer mit Präposition benutzt: abschdröbbe, ronnrschdröbbe ... Manchmal wird es auch schdroebbe geschrieben.
Interessanterweise ist die entsprechende Lautverschiebung in der moselfränkischen Mundart von streifen, pfeifen, seifen etc. aber immer striffe, piffe, siffe etc. Das Doppel-p oder -b ist in der Regel in Worten mit pf zu finden: also höbbe, köbbe statt hüpfen, köpfen.
Schdröbbe müsste also von ströpfen stammen, vielleicht ja von schröpfen ...

Wundervoll! Äh... aber heißt das jetzt "schröbbe" oder "schdröbbe"? Bei der Fußnote auf S. 3 isses anders geschrieben als sonst... jedenfalls scheint es, dass du einer der ersten bist, die das Wort ins Netz bringen, Yahoo und Google waren relativ ratlos. Die einzig sinnvolle Erklärung für die Etymologie dieses Wortes fand sich auf http://www.niederfischbach.de , wo es aber mit "abstreifen, ausziehen" übersetzt wird. Hat ja auch was mit wegnehmen zu tun...
