Comics gezeichnet habe ich von "Anfang an". Da man in der Schule nix besseres zu tun hatte unterhielt man seine Mitschüler mit Zeichnungen. Doch dann wurde man älter, hatte andere Interessen... und griff jahrelang nicht mehr nach dem Bleistift. Irgendwann einmal fiel mir ein Set Ölfarben in die Hand, das musste sofort probiert werden. Heraus kam ein klägliches "Meisterwerk", doch da die ganze Sache Spaß gemacht hat wurde geübt, gemalt, Inspiration in Museen gesucht, Künstlerbiografien gelesen, Techniken studiert und ausprobiert... malen nicht des Malens willen, man musste begreifen das man nicht malt weil man etwas Neues für die Wand braucht. Auf eine Leinwand gehören Emotionen, das was einen bewegt will festgehalten werden. Man löst sich von den Techniken und läst den Pinsel einfach mal machen, und es funktioniert. Online habe ich meine Heimat bei Menschkunst.de gefunden und war auch Mitbegründer in die Umwandlung in einen Verein (der sich jetzt allerdings wieder aufgelöst hat. Menschkunst existiert aber weiterhin).
Da sich schon seit längerer Zeit eine gewisse Flaute bei meinen Kunstwerken eingestellt hat, vielleicht habe ich auch keine Emotionen mehr, durchlebe ich gerade eine Pause von Pinsel und Leinwand. Bei Menschkunst pausiere ich auch derzeit.
Da ich aber nicht ganz untätig sein wollte entdeckte ich meine alte Liebe zum Comic wieder. Auf Comics mit Menschen habe ich derzeit keine Lust, fällt mir doch auch absolut kein Witz ein (keine Emotionen mehr?!?!). Gut, dann halt Tiere. Das ich dabei einen Hund gewählt habe liegt einfach daran das ich über Jahre genug Inspirationen mit meinen eigenen, leider verstorbenen Hund sammeln konnte. Einen Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, eine herrliche Hunderasse... mit meinen Comics bewahre ich meine Erinnerung, sind doch manche Witze etwas überspitzt in Teilen in der Realität passiert.
Das ich am Computer zeichne liegt einfach daran das ich keine Lust hatte Tonnen von Papier zu verschwenden, ist der Rückgang zum Comiczeichnen nicht ganz einfach gewesen. Zuviel hat man verlernt... es wird aber langsam wieder besser.
