Cartoon Left versus Right

des - Left versus Right

Exercises for the Left hand
The top two pictures are just for fun. The left and right sides were drawn simultaneously with a pencil in each hand. It's not as difficult as it sounds, and it gets easier the more you do it. Obviously, drawing different pictures with each hand simultaneously is a bit more difficult, but I find this a fun way to loosen up.

The third picture is just left hand doodling, and the fourth picture is slightly more serious left hand work.

If I keep practising, I think I could get fairly good results this way. Even as it is, I find it helps the "drawing centre" of the brain to wake up.

The last picture is at the request of the esteemed Matthias Kringe.

The game's afoot, dude.

Not saying that it's bad, It's some of the best footwork I've seen.

The Foot is a game, my dear Des!

I think, I should try this technique, too ....

Ok, Matthias. I had ten minutes to spare when I came in so, just for you, I did an extra sketch. I've added it to the pages above for your inspection.

Right foot is definitely easier, if only because it's easier to see what I'm doing.

My footwriting is a bit rough, though.

OK! Now try it with your right foot, then with your left foot and show us the results!!!
