Death of Nelson.

I'm sure Kismet means fate.

Death of Nelson.

You ignoramuses!
Nelson was famous for saying on his deathbed "Kismet,Hardy" misinterpreted for "Kiss me, Hardy!"
Now do you get it?

oh! horatio was his first name!? i didn't know that! so forget about hamlet!
i guess it is a reference to some anekdote about his death (maybe that he kissed his first officer goodbye), that we stupid krauts do not know...
@parker: please ease our painful unsatisfied curiosity!!!

Horatio Nelson

Never heard of Horatio Nelson? Shame on you!
Vice-Admiral Horatio Nelson, 1st Viscount Nelson, KB (29 September 1758 ? 21 October 1805) was a British flag officer famous for his participation in the Napoleonic Wars, most notably in the Battle of Trafalgar, a decisive British victory in the war, during which he lost his life. (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Horatio_Nelson,_1st_Viscount_Nelson)
But I don't really get the joke either...

I guess I'm too dim for the punchline. So I'm utterly trying to mask my ignorance by giving it ****.
The style alone deserves it anyway!

since i'm not an englishman, i do not know enough about sir nelson to get this joke. "horatio" - is that a reference to shakespeare's <Hamlet>?
