Ich bin ein verarmter und unbekannter Comiczeichner, der einige unbedeutende Strips in Tageszeitungen und Magazinen gezeichnet habe. Und ja...ich liebe Asterix. Schon als kleines Kind - inmitten meiner Playmobilfiguren und Legosteinen - las ich Asterix. Jede Folge, die ich mir von meinem Taschengeld absparte. Da ich der französischen Sprache nicht mächtig war, hießen die Macher von Asterix für mich GosKinny und UderZZZo.
Und ich war todtraurig, als ich erfuhr, das GosKinny schon vor langer, langer Zeit verstorben war (1977).
Und als ich UderZZZo zum ersten Mal leibhaftig auf dem Comicsalon in Erlangen sah, verfiel ich in ehrfürchtiges Schweigen...
(Beim Lesen dieses Kommentars am besten epische Filmmusik im Hintergrund abspielen lassen: z.B. John Dunbar Theme oder vom Winde verweht...)

Die Zeichnung finde ich absolut stark. Das kann schon mit den guten alten Asterix-Comics mithalten. Klasse!

Der Zeichenstil gefällt mir auch, man sieht deutlich die franco-belgischen Einflüsse, aber mir fehlen gerade bei dem ein wenig die Hintergründe. Oder irgendetwas, damit es nicht so leer/karg wirkt.
So schön ausgearbeitete Figuren im Vordergrund und ansonsten gähnende Leere ist schade. Aber vielleicht wirkt das nur so auf mich, weil man so einen Zeichenstil eher aus Comics wie Asterix, Lucky Luke und co gewöhnt ist und die haben nun mal auch gut gezeichnete Hintergründe
